Planning and listed building consent were issued in relation to the erection of a new sports pavilion linked to the Grade II* Listed Building at Howells School within a conservation area together with a floodlit synthetic sports pitch. The proposals provide modern sporting and viewing facilities – the provision of which was found to outweigh the limited impact on heritage assets and neighbours by the appointed Planning Inspector. The appeal decision is a number example of success as part of our role as Town Planning and Development partner to Notts Sport – the leading specialist in the design, advice and supply of artificial turf from cricket, tennis, football and hockey pitches to multi-sports and children’s play areas.
