GJP recently secured a resolution to grant at PCNP’s Development Management Committee in June 2018 for a residential led scheme including a hotel. The scheme included 32 shared ownership and market dwellings, 38 affordable housing along with a 63-bed Premier Inn hotel.

In terms of the housing element, it was considered that the proposal allowed a significant and meaningful supply of housing to be delivered over and above (and in considerable excess of) the affordable housing provision required by the PCNPA for the site. In respect of the hotel, it was considered that this would provide significant economic benefits to the economy of St Davids and the wider area in terms of employment creation and increasing the range, choice and quality of serviced visitor accommodation, meeting key objectives of national, regional and local planning and tourism policies.
