GJP have recently secured committee approval for a residential strategic site in St Athan, Vale of Glamorgan. The resolution to grant planning permission for the residential development of Land off Cowbridge Road, St Athan for up to 253 residential units, a strategic access, open space and provision for a new cycleway / footway connection to St Athan.

Committee members resolved to approve the outline application and it was considered that the proposals complied with both national and local policies through the high quality of design proposed, along with the proposal allowing for the retention and long term safeguarding of the archaeological areas of interest and the provision of a strategic roundabout access to the site which would also act as a much needed traffic calming measure.
