GJP has secured separate Planning Permission for various projects at Bargoed Farm including a Play Barn, Farm Shop, touring caravan and tent pitches and other tourism accommodation.
The Moody Cow now boasts a Bistro, events barn, children’s play barn, Posh Cow wine bar and 11 ensuite bedrooms in the Moo-tel with plans for further expansion.
The projects have diversified and expanded the existing agricultural enterprise which is located in an idyllic rural location between the seaside towns of Aberaeron and New Quay in the heart of Cardigan Bay.
The schemes have added much-needed tourism accommodation and leisure facilities in the Ceredigion County, both to the benefit of the local population and tourists. In turn, the farming enterprise adds real value to the local economy, through the creation of employment opportunities and local spend.
GJP continue to work on other projects associated with the business to further expand and diversify its offer within the local and wider community.
GJP has secured separate planning permission for various schemes at Bargoed Farm to diversify the existing farming enterprise. The projects have established the Farm as an excellent tourist location and ‘community hub’ through the provision of high-quality accommodation and leisure facilities on site.
Planning law and permissions can be difficult enough when dealing with small scale residential issues; large scale business ventures in rural locations are a headache, and that’s the polite version! Had it not been for the team at GJP I’m not sure we would have ever obtained the permissions that we have, which have been instrumental in the evolution of our business and hopefully its longer term success.
