Project overview

A brand new dairy processing facility in Haverfordwest, offering fresh Welsh milk bottled in Wales and bottling 1,000,000 litres of milk every week.

The new facility receives, processes, bottles and dispatches dairy milk from Pembrokeshire to a range of national and regional businesses, and will be the only British Retail Consortium Standard facility to offer Welsh milk that is also bottled in Wales.

Importantly, the scheme reduces food miles, increases supply chain efficiency and supports local farming and communities.

GJP secured Planning Permission for the facility, having previously secured Planning Permission for a vegetable preparation facility.

Outcome

The application was approved unanimously at Pembrokeshire County Council Planning Committee, as it was deemed that the proposal would result in the creation of significant economic benefits in Pembrokeshire.

Previous proposals have been unanimously approved by the Authority.

We’d like to give huge credit to the members of the team who helped achieve this approval, including the various number of staff at Pembrokeshire Creamery – it’s such an exciting new addition to Haverfordwest!
